2009 is looking very promising for hardcore gamers, you can expect great title for PS3 in 09 and one the title that will shock you is Infamous developed by Sucker Punch. Infamous does lack a strong storyline but this gap is filled by an awesome gameplay. In the game you play the role of a biker named Cole. One mysterious event leaves Cole with super power, Cole can control electricity in anyway he likes. Infamous leaves the player in a devastated city which is falling apart quickly and now it is up the player to decide the faith of this unfortunate city. Infamous will be released in May 31, 09. While it is not yet rated I think pushing people of the sky scraper and burning enemy alive is not (TEEN 10+) material. If you like open world games then you don’t want to miss this out.

Sierra studio failed to produce a legendary game to be remembered/talked about but surely they have planned 2009 very carefully. Sierra has decided to release Prototype in April 2009. Prototype can be mistaken as a next sequel to Assassin creed or a new chapter of HULK… that’s because you are constantly destroying things like Helicopters, cars, trucks, cop cars and anything else you can find in modern day New York City, games main character “Alex Mercer” can easily be described as a killing machine. The main story is not very complicated, you play the character named Alex Mercer who has some unexplained super natural power (possibly through GOV. experimentation) and problem is that Alex Mercer have lost all memories of his past and now he has to literary consume his target to take their memories HOW? One of Alex Mercer power is that he can consume a person whole and get hold of his victim’s memory and can also shape shift the form of his victim. Prototype is a open world game and by far the best looking one also, time setting of Prototype is set in modern day New York City. Prototype is really the game in which the real question is what can’t you do (fly,trow cars, scale sky scrapers running etc…). Prototype will definitely be rated MATURE because of its bloody gameplay which allows you to do any things to your victim for example if you want to take your enemy all the way on the top of the 90 story building and drop them from their… sure go ahead or cut them in half, run over them by a car/tank or be creative setup a trap “mines”. I will personally rate Prototype 10/10, Now I know I have not played it yet but the reason is that it is first time a studio has made a game perfect according to my taste and i just cannot wait.

This year can easily be described as one the best, memorizing and wonderful year for gaming (Software) industry and with 2008 coming to a swift end every gamer around the globe is looking forward to 2009 and wondering about what is stores for them next year and so far it is looking very bright, but if you are still a little skeptic about it then I have some heads up for you, Believe me you won’t be disappointed…

OK you can argue all you want if “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune” was a console buster or not but one things is sure that its next edition (Uncharted 2) is sure to turn some gamer heads and rock your console. There is not much information about the story line , weapon brig or about character line so I can’t give much heads up at this movement but I will surely keep my eyes for any new development so be sure to check back, on the other hand i did find a teaser trailer and there it is…. i don’t know about you guys but im very exited about the 2K studios news that they will be launching BioShock2 next year. While im not sure what the new storyline is going to be one thing is sure that it is going to be huge and you’ll love it. There is also no set release date on BioShock 2 but hopefully 2K studio will stick to its promise of releasing a new BioShock every 2 year. It is still a long wait but I’ll keep eye as more information comes.
