SmartMow (robot-mower)

I know this is not the lawn mowing season and if you are like me then you must have been enjoying it because no one wants to spend time in hot summer cutting grass. But like a cup of hot coco good times also have to come an end and soon it will be summer again but no worries this summer you can be ready with SmartMow by Robolabs, Inc. SmartMow is a garage gadget, where it might not be the best way to cut grass, it sure beats the traditional method of cutting grass with heavy equipment under hot sun. SmartMow is re-chargeable and one charge lasts about 2 to 3 hours and cover the area of 1/6 acre. SmartMow will cost you about $175 only if you pre-order now if you choose to wait till its official release in spring,09 then it will cost you roughly $700 total. SmartMow is a great product but like similar product in the past be ready to come across some glitches and remember not every robot is perfect (yet).

Dell’s Mini 12 netbook

It has been a long wait but as promised Dell is finally launching Mini 12 for North American market. Mini 12 may not be the best notebook on the market but i warn you do not under estimate Mini 12. Mini 12 has 1.6GHz Atom chip, a larger 60GB hard drive, a six-cell battery, 1.3MP webcam, Glossy 12.1 inch WXGA display (1280X800) and One external speaker. But perhaps the best thing I like about Mini 12 is that with all these amazing features Dell has still manage to keep Mini 12 incredibly light weight (2.72lb) and with six-cell batter you’ll rarely have to recharge your notebook on immediate basic which makes it a lot more reliable when compared to other competitor notebooks (6 hour battery life). Although $758 might be a little too much for a notebook but considering all the feature you get from Mini 12 i think that the price tag of $758 is appropriate for Dell Mini 12. Mini 12 will be shipping out in December pre-order yours now.

Fujitsu’s LifeBook N7010

It is been a while since Fujitsu released a quality laptop. Fujitsu is releasing its new notebook named LifeBook N7010. What is different about this notebook? and has landed it on the top of my wishlist is a unique secondary 4-inch touch screen (which i have never seen in any laptop ever ) located just above keyboard but thats not all LifeBook N7010 also has main screen resolution of 1366 x 768 and there’s an HDMI output for plugging into your TV i know it is not alot & i am not defending LifeBook N7010 lets go in the details, LifeBook N7010 has Core 2 Duo P8400 processor running at 2.26GHz, ATI Radeon HD 3470 graphics with 256MB GDDR3 and at the top of all that there is also a blue-ray drive. LifeBook N7010 also has an eSATA port, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, track-pad and a pretty sweet hard-drive storage of 320gb. With all that don’t think that LifeBook is going to come any cheaper, LifeBook N7010 is going to cost you $1,499 (a little higher than expected) but this notebook does make a very nice holiday present for a college student for the rest of us well not everyone needs a secondary touch screen.
